Kalasan Temple is the oldest Buddhist relics in the area of Yogyakarta and Central Java as an offering to the Dewa Tara.
The temple building has a 34 meters high, long and 45 meters wide is composed of three parts, namely the bottom or foot of the temple, the body of the temple and the roof of the temple. The bottom of the foot of the temple is a temple which stood on a stone base of a square with a size of 45 meters and a wide shelf.
